Ive been successful on my 2015 in doing the seat belt chime, start/stop activation, enabling the green screen, mirror dip

I cant get the oil temp to display & im logically guessing this is due to not having a sensor in the sump, is that a correct assumption?

But if anyone has any info on these it would be greatly appreciated

Hello from snowy Russia!

I own 2011 TReg (new one, also called NF or 7P), and have found some tricks with VAGCOM. You will need the latest 10.6.3 version, as it has more labels and descriptions.

1. Module 17 (instruments), 10-Adaptation, and than choose Seatbelt Chime from drop-down menu. You may set it to disabled if you dont need those sound

2. You may also add oil temperature to dashboard by selecting (in the same drop-down menu)
configuration of driver information system - oil temperature - active

3. RNS-850 is actually the same is Audi MMI 3G. So you may use all codes for it, like video in motion
VIM login-code generator for MMI 3G

or enable green (hidden) menu
Module 5F, Adaptation - 10, channel 6, set 1 instead of 0. then press SETUP + CAR for several seconds.

You may even enable Offroad navigation mode on a car without TerrainTech by setting diagnose - settings - offroad navi to 1/2 - enabled in that hidden menu. Also there's some wifi network availible in RNS-850, but I haven't found how to use it.

At the moment I'm trying to send as much as possible scans of different Tregs to Ross-Tech, as it would help to improve label-files in next versions. Please do the same with your Tregs. I believe, there is much more possibilities to enable, like enabling Dynamic Light Assist or Proactive occupant protection system (seems like these are software options)

Guys quick question about oil temperature guage. I tried to activate but "out of range". Read whole topic but didn't find solution for that. Could you please let me know if it's possible to enabel in touareg 7P??

because I didn´t get the answer in my "introduce" topic I will try it here

I have my old VCDS cable which I immidiatelly used for "tweaks" like Start/Stop deactivation, CH/LH function and what I really don´t expect - Auxiliary heater activation from "parking heater" throw the RNS850 and timer.
For this I have couple of questions that I didn´t found here:
- do exists some manual how the timer works? (I know its quite easy but...)
- heater is now working like standart aux heater without any additional affect? (battery, risk of fire etc..)
- Activate now is possibble only with ignition on, what happens when I turn ignition off?

its detailed in page 325 of the manual, i had posted screenshot of the screen. My Aux heater button can be pressed when the car is off or on. There is warnings to not operate in unventolated enclosed spaces as carbon monoxide is produced for when you turn off i guess you can find out?

Let us know if you manage to do anything with VCDS on this issue. The linked thread in your introduction thread is indeed an ongoing thread regarding Aux Heaters.

Roytour specced his car with the Parking Heater with remote operation as an optional extra when he ordered it, so it's all singing/dancing

Is it possible to deactivate the TCS/ESP with vcds? I can only deactiveate TCS but still cant go sideways over 20kmh

I want to drift on the icetrack but its impossible when the abs kicks all the time

Hello all,

I've just installed in the exterior mirrors, on the driver's side and on the passenger's side, the module for memory - 1K0 959 578 A. But the memory still doesn't work, If i set on position 1 and mangle with the seats and with the mirrors and I press again position 1 the seats go to their corresponding position but the mirrors don't. I think i must do some coding to the two doors, the drivers and the passengers. Does anyone know what coding do I have to do?
