so my 2012 Treg has taken to beeping and flashing randomly/intermittently and is sometimes hard to stop. Fed up with my VW dealers i went to a local independent who found an error code for the alarm siren. but doesn't know where it (the siren) is to test it further. he has asked VW and they are thinking about it. has any of the knowledgable folk here had this problem and can you advise? cheers

The alarm horn -H12- is located centrally in the plenum chamber and you need to remove the windscreen wiper system to get to it.
