Apologies if this is old ground but i need the help of you younger guys brought up on computers and not an abacus like me ������������
My treg developed a fault last week code 02409 brake for differential locking motor - 009 - open or short to ground.
So i got underneath and found a broken wire out of the motor body i repaired this . Bingo no flashing control switch and the 4picture of the drive train disappeared from the mil.
Full VCDS scan below .
Now after repairing that i have ended up with the ABS ESP & The parking brake flashing ..notice pops up problem with Brakes visit workshop . New front pads installed rear pads are fine .
I have the other scan with all theses codes i shall attach it to this thread
Any help with where to start would be very welcome .
3.2 v6 2005 mileage 136000 owned her since january 2015 and she still pulls like a train ...
OH please imagine you are dealing with a mechanically adept old git so please go easy with the teccy stuff as i said i have all the gear but no idea ������������������
Sorry i should have said the speedo has stopped working as well ...

As a starting point, since you have been working with wiring, you may have blown fuse/s. No power to the ABS controller would explain why you have lost address 03.

I have checked every fuse i can find left / right of the dashboard , small one under the bonnet, i even found 1 fuse underneath the passenger seat above the battery compartment and all seems well .

edit..seems to be lots of ammended fuse locations. specifically.. check right dash fuse box.possible locations are fuses 6 and 56... also 38

If those are okay pull off ABS connector, check you have power at.. pin 1 red (from fuse 56) pin 32 red/yellow (from fuse 6)

Many thanks for your help you are a diamond in the rough.
Checked fuses again
Fuse 38 // 10amp belled out ok but taking it out i noticed the terminal was way far back in the carrier pressed it back into position replaced the fuse
Happy days ....all codes gone

Hello, i have exactly the same error as you mention in the first part and i suspect is some cable that either is broken or some plug does not make contact.
Could you please please describe more precisely where you checked and found the broken wire?
(i could dare to ask even if possible a photo....)
The problem is driving me nuts for a long time (once it was appearing, then was not, then again, and always it was appearing together with the 4 wheels indication when going over bumpy road and pressing the break.
