any ideas what to do, apart from divorce,
Take it in for engien coolant to be drained and fixed.
What damage will this do apart from to my wallet??

Hi Nick,

Dont drive it!!!!! You need to have the system flushed to remove all the oil before it gets pumped through the coolant system - if its already been driven, then there is a chance all the filters in the coolant system are ruined. I'd get it to your dealer/garage via a tow truck and get them to look at it first

A friend of mine runs a small garage.I was with him one day when he was called out to a lady who was having trouble starting her car.
He was baffled at first and asked her about the events leading up to the call out.
She explained she was filing it with oil.He asked her to show him.
She was filling the engine through the dipstick holder and was waiting for it to reach the top of the filler.
The engine was awash with oil.
Priceless.
