Well I did it dispite the issues i had with my 04 TDI I am now the proud owner of a off road grey 2.5 TDI SE Sport with a couple of extra bits and I only got stung ?500 on my 50k 04 manual

Anyway dont know if you guys know but I got a nice suprise inside the arm rest
yes it has (audio in) jac plugs, so now with the cost of a audio connector (?4.00) I now have Ipod music through aux audio

Makes up for the missing sat nav disc (though Richard Alexander filled the tank to say sorry) and sales are trying to find a disc to loan me as my old one is not recognised by this car (new disc 2 weeks away) and I have to find reading on Sun night

Still think Ts are the best ride :clap:

I know you found them in the armrest but where?is it under the lining as i have a 55 2.5 sport and i cant see it just by opening the armrest.

A 55 plate might not have them - I don't think they were actually standard until later in the period.

If they are there, should be in the centre armrest section.

If not, there are still a couple of ways you can hook up an iPod.

Came with the 06 model year - mine is a 55 reg too & has it, but I know it was built in July 05 to 06 MY spec. If they are are not there on yours it could have been a 05 build in stock? :think:

Fantastic news that we have so many repeat Treg buyers.
Its a magic motor and I always feel a bit weird getting in or walking toward it in a full car park, a bit exhibitionist stylee, because it is just so bloody stylish and good looking. I love it and I can't see me replacing it with anything else........even if the greens and wimp government do increase the road tax exponentially, I will find the money from somewhere!
