Today, the internal turn indicators stopped working (no noise or lights) but the outside ones were ok.

At the same time, the voltmeter read zero and did so for 40 miles 'cos I was scared to switch the engine off just in case the battery was flat. I actually drove to VW Shrewsbury before switching off !!

Hey presto, lock and unlock car and all was fine for rest of the day.

Now, rather than book it in when it is showing fine, I think I'll will wait till it does it again and drive to nearest VW garage to show them.

Anyone got any ideas what happened ?????
(Its a 2005 model so should nto have the faulty wiring looms from 2003/04) :help:

mind and take your map of the car before you take it into any dealer they will for sure check your ECU's on this one.
Yeah I know - mate just had his returned from service with "software updates" applied.

Now it does 4mpg less, and feels like its had an anchor fitted !!!

Luckily he chose e-maps who will redo the map for free !!
