Went to visit Vindi's Cambridge yesterday, was impressed with their 'used' treg selection and the fact that they have a dedicated 'Lux' Manager and treg workshop.

Much better than my first experience with Wayside St/A.

Anyone had any experience of dealing with them for sales/service ?

we bought our car from here a few weeks ago and have nothing but praise for them so far....

fixed all of the little issues i pointed out when first viewing the car.

delivered identical courtesy model and delivered our car back when it went in for a final issue fix.

all good at the moment

I bought my Touraeg (and my wifes Fox) from Vindis in Sawston (NOT the Milton Road dealership, although the same group), and I can't recommend them highly enough
Dan (sales) and Mark (Business Manager) are top gents and have sorted us out all the way through.

Marvelous.

The chap on the service desk on Milton Road swore blind to me that my '54 2.5 TDI (R5) takes Longlife III oil now as they have "stopped doing Longlife II". As per other threads on this forum the R5 and V10 _MUST_ use Longlife II (VW506.01 spec) oil as they have gear driven cams.

Autohaus/Northampton just typed my reg into the service computer and said "Yes, never use Longlife III in it". Guess where I'm taking it for a big service.

after buying from them, and getting the run around on the first service regarding courtesy cars, i wont use them any more.
was promised a treg as courtesy car on every service if i gave them enough notice, and first service i was told they never use the tregs for courtesy cars (except when you are in the 14 day cooling off period, obviously.... )

when i called regarding 2nd service prices and tyre fitting, the service manager could hardly be bothered to talk to me on the phone

i now use Cooks in Peterborough, and have had brakes, service and warranty work done with them, including fitting tyres that i supplied

couldnt be more helpful
