Do the 22 Tregs use an actual pressure monitor or just differential wheel speed ? If the later the set button just allows the car to know the current normally inflate difference in wheel speeds but no actual pressure is monitored ? The details should be somewhere in the owners manual
They have sensors in each wheel. Same as previous models.
The receivers are in each wheel arch, you shouldn't have to do anything to get it to work, even if you switch the wheels around the receiver will sensor pick up the closest sensor.
The only setting is 'load' i.e. you tell it the target pressure.

My O/S front is always a little lazy but it usually catches up after a mile or so driving. Sounds like your are fucked scrooge

Stupid question but I've got to ask.. you sure you have the full TPMS option? The basic version doesn't show pressures, it just chucks a warning when you've under or over pressure

Yep, it should have. it's the trim below the R-Line. Plus in the manual it says that if you don't have them fitted it will tell you it doens't have'em.
It's deffo a cost option for all trim levels. If you ask your dealer they can supply you with the build sheet for your car if you don;t have it already. Otherwise you can get if from Erwin. That'll tell you for sure if it was optioned.

The manual is far from accurate

Understood, but although you've asked the OP hasn't confirmed (or doesn't know) which system he has. No point in looking for tyre pressure readings if the car doesn't have that option fitted.
So is the passive system the "standard" TPMS system that doesn't show individual pressures?
I'd assumed they were one in the same, with the standard system having less functionality?
