Wife knows, but is not coming. After I originally decided to go for the test drive and posted on here, Fiona and Ross got me thinking about a Mini for Clare - I mentioned it to her, and now she likes the idea - she is planning a test drive in a Cooper S shortly. This may scupper my plans some what.

My Sister is a big fan of the PT Cruiser - personally I wouldn't as the build quality is not the best - IMHO

PT is certainly unique. You either love it it hate it. Personally I actually think it's styling has a certain charm. Beyond that I have no input, never driven one, don;t know anyone who had, and for that matter never even parked next to one.

It would make a great platform for cleaning to upstairs windows - or the loft windows for that matter. Wife at the air suspension controls - going up?

a PT is a big NO NO in my camp. When tested they were found to be the easiest and quickest car to break into.

well done to your wife Kaine cracking move she has made going for a test drive in the MINI.

As long as she remmebers the car is designed to stick to the road and whip round those corners super quick and the whine from the super charger.

The best part she would have one of the coolest cars on the road. IMHO.

Wife was looking at a 206 or 307 convertible next time, but maybe the new mini soft top would be a good choice. She can wait though, treg comes first

COOPER S good choice just like fiona said they are made to be driven, if she just wants an easy run around i would suggest just a cooper with all the works

I'm VERY young then

How long did it run for? I'm sure I remember my parents watching it when I was a nipper (that's about 25 years ago).
