im going to miss VW assistance....

went to stop at petrol station this morning, pressed button in to move to park and it wouldn't come out again. Tried to prise it out no joy, couldn't get keys out of ignition so started car and drove it to office

Put it into park button still stuck in finally managed to prise it out after a few minutes, thought i would try to see if it would go back in but no jammed so locked car rang VW assist

Guy arrives, apparently he has attended several Touareg that have had a sticking button. He sprayed it with WD40, got a cloth and manged to clean the button now it works perfectly.

SWMBO borrowed it 2 days ago bet it was her hand cream.....

Have you had a change of plans... Is the old girl not having transgender operations to turn her into an MPV...?

Or are these the last days of the silver beauty...? She's trying to tell you she needs you to look after her...

BTW, useful tip, won't be using so much Oil of Ulay in future....

Tregs replacement is in build this week expect to land in blighty 3-4 weeks from now. It'll be on Martins of B'stokes forecourt mid dec i suppose...

i am going to miss the old girl but she will just sit on the driveway and develop a flat battery....im predicting a cold winter as ill be on me bike.......and no 4x4....
