HELP!

My 2006 V6 Petrol Treg has a speed warning buzzer with a mind of its own. I have tried every setting under the Conv setting, switched it off, increased the limit etc etc but the buzzer sounds at 120km/hr regardless.

Local agent refuses to modify or disconnect due to local requirements.

Does anyone know how to over-ride Conv settings or advise how to disconnect the buzzer.

Try to reset the factory settings and then put it all back to your preff. settings with the speed warning switched off

Sounds a little odd and you have suggested km/hr

Sounds like my old Audi :angry2: .

Couldn't reset the 90 Mph alarm but could set an additional alarm for say 50 Mph.

Luckily my Treg settings are better and via the menu you can set the alarm to be anything you like .... i.e. 90 Mph in my case with no second alarm set.

If you live in the United Arab Emirates (just a guess) then it's mandatory (believe it or not) and would need to be removed using a VAG COM. Sorry.....

I set it on ours to 85mph, as I thought Mrs.paddy was flying about a little too much in it. The next day, 10 mins after she left here, the phone rang. i played the same line as your dealer... "I know nothing"!

Can't do that after a few months though ... wife is much too clever and works the menus herself.

Should get one fitted in the Mini though .... drive too fast myself when driving the little monster :w00t: .
