Think I may have water in the river's door or somewhere nearby. Sympton=drive slowly away from stationary and apply brakes. Sound of water rushing forward. Pretty sure its not the fuel tank. Anyhow booked it in tomorrow to check so I may have a bit of a red face if it is just that. Anyone have any comments/observations?

you sure it is coming from the door. Heard of the same kinda thing but different car turned out to be heater matrix.

I have a similar sound coming from my tailgate every time I close it. I would be interested to hear what you find out.

Well...went into the garage today with me thinking I'd be experiencing a bit of a red face in the afternoon when they told me it was just the diesel in the tank sloshing around. But no! Description of work carried out reads " Drained o/s/f sill cavity as full of water and replaced gromet " - which they told me was missing. Since this was the case since last service I think something happened then. Asked if any remedial work needed in light of road salt water filling the space they said NO. Thinking about that. They key for me was Feb 8. Drove off from office in the PM and the sloshing sounded a little more lumpy...it was ice chunks. That convinced me it might not be the fuel tank.

Still waiting for the new wipers which are on order.
