I to cannot pull off the inlet pipe and I have removed all of the torn bolts. there is something that I can't see. Help anyone

There is another torx bolt underneath the tube behind the "chain mail" pipe.

I have now fitted a Provent 200 catch can. I havent made a bracket as quite honestly it doesnt really need one. The hoses are rigid enough & it feels secure.

I sourced the correct VW latched connecters which fit on the inlet & outlet same as the original vent hose, 25 & 19mm silicone reinforced hose with a couple of reducers & right angle couplers & clear PVC hose with a drain tap on the oulet.

I will monitor it to see how it holds up to oil vapour etc.

After cleaning out the inlet and how much better it now runs hopefully this will avoid the soot building back up
I will see just how much oil it collects over the next few miles

Thanks, just done mine and the boy's Q7, both with 57k on clocks. They both run like new and worth doing if you have 50k plus racked up.

Just had mine cleaned , 69K, performance is better noticeably and ave mpg up 👍🏻
