Thank you Kaine. I like it too. At the beginning, when I saw them for the first time (on pictures) I disliked it. But in the real life they're very nice and it's very practical because we are not tall and for the chidren too.

That's also why I bought the Treg.

Remember this is quite a poshy car in Europe so everytime I drive it back home you get the heads turning

Link to the English VW

This would suggest you have the Salt Lake one

Hope this helps

They would be. That's the nations capital with plenty of diplomats, expats, and others to go around. You won't see many specced up as nice as in the UK though. Plenty of fabric seats (so no leather), etc. Mind you the tax on a leased company car (which 80% of all Dutch cars are) is about 25% of the retail price, which in the 50% tax band (in which most of these drivers are) is 12.5% net of the value of the car.

Also the special tax is about 10,000 GBP on the retail price which bumps up the car to ludicrous cost levels. On a 2.5 tdi SE Sport (I did te comparison) this would be about 20,000 Euro's more (13,500 GBP)
.

So yes you may have seen plenty ..... but there is a story to it
.

Cheers,
Rob

Brill will look forward to seeing them

What is the VW service like over there??
VW service depends on the retailer whom you frequent (like in UK I think). Mine is excellent and I go there for several years. Generally the VW service is rather average in France.
