Noticed that the Touareg has some scuffs on the sill step as I get in to the car. Anyone any experience of protective sill step covers?? (UK car).

I’ve used carbon effect self adhesive strips on all 4 sills since new - still there, no scuffs and wipe clean. Cheap purchase from a well known online auction site and contrasts well on a white car 👍

I bought a stainless set with the Touareg name on them for my '11 like in the link below. Not sure what year you have .
I haven't installed them yet because I already changed the inner plastic sill cover insert with stainless ones with the Touareg name on it. Seemed kind of repetitive to have it say Touareg twice.

Yes, good idea. I used gloss black (because the car is deep black) so it is almost invisible. Sills, also top of rear bumper to prevent loading scratches, and I cut some little bits to fit in the door handle recesses to try and stop my wife’s diamond from scratching the paint. Useful stuff.
