Has anybody had a problem with the sat nav screen dimming? It doesn't seem to be as bright as before.

It dims when your lights are on according to the brightness setting of the dash - turn the wheel beside the headlamp switch, if that helps?

Or just drive around with your lights off.... but thats not recommended in the winter.

It might be something to do with the SAT-NAV light setting. The standard setting for the system is for the SAT-NAV back-lighting to dim when you have the car lights on- I personally do not like this as the screen goes to dark so I have overridden the ?Automatic? setting to the ?Manual? setting.

To do this I went into the SAT-NAV system setting menu and there is an option for lighting or brightness which allows you to select either auto or manual.

The cars just been in for 4 days worth of recall work and no doubt settings have been put back to defaults.
