Hi folks,

Whilst cleaning/treating the leather at the weekend I tried to lift the rear seats up to do a proper job and found they wouldn't lift all the way. Re-read the manual again, fearing I was missing something stupid, but no - "Pull strap..lift seat.." - simple enough.

I've taken some piccies and labelled the parts/direction of travel for clarity as it looks as though the hinge has been incorrectly made - such that the moving part (
is unable to lift any higher as it comes into contact with the fixed part of the hinge (A).

Could somebody have a look at their car and let me know....any comments welcome.

Cheers.

when you pull the tab do you first lift from where the tab is..... because it is like a double hinge

pull tab - lift from tab about half inch - then pull the seat over and it then drops down into the footwell
