The 'Chrome effect' on the protective strips on the roof are peeling!
You spend how much money? and for what - silver paint to peel off.. Ridiculus!

Infact after reporting this problem to the dealer 5 wks ago they are apparently still awaiting the parts...

Have they given you a reason for this?

I assume you havent put any loads on there ??

Hey Buster,
Isnt it just a bit strange..

I emailed the pics to the supplying dealer in Bristol 5 weeks ago; they ordered another 4 (under warranty) with no reason as to why this had happened.

No Loads have been put on the roof what so ever!

I called them again yesterday and they said they have no idea when they will be in stock so i could be looking at another 8 weeks ...CRAZY!

Also the Treg Specialistin the dealership said that the roof is double skinned and that the strips would have to be drilled out and re-riveted - this isnt true; it turns out that the roof is a single skin and the strips just stick on...He just didnt want the job!

'mmm' remind me why i just spent so much money on a VW..
