Hi all,

Got a 2006 7L V6 Altitude model and the passenger side marker light (RHD) has gone so i've got a new one to replace and i've removed the headlight assembly but all the videos and guides i can find show a large rubber bung/plug that you need to remove right behine the marker light (so on the left of this picture) to get access to the bulb but as normal mine doesn't have such easy access so i'm "assuming" i need to remove the bolts on the block with the electrical shock warning symbol to get into it but thought i'd double check before i do so ? Just also thought to mention that mine has air suspension which is why i suspect it's different

Thought i'd give it a go and for future reference, yes, it is and then the plastic holder for the bulb just squeezes together on the plastic tabs and it pulls out backwards

The metal block 'thing' is the ballast pack for HID lights isn't it, hence the voltage warning.

Do T2 lights extract like T1s? Slide forwards out of the car?

Yes, there's a hex bolt up at the side of the light cluster on the inside of the car and you spin this to push it forward enough to "unlock" it and then you just pull.....nice to not have to unplug a million connectors

Same as a T1 then. Interestingly the ballast pack on a Ti is on the underside and doesn't obscure bulb access.
