Does anyone know for sure if either Swindon or Newbury VW dealers have a qualified Touareg techie on-site?

My bumper needs to come off to replace that phaesant-destructed grille and replace the light assembly - but can't be arsed to make a 60-mile round trip to Oxford (especially since they STILL owe me £80)...

Newbury are currently only able to perform servicing and PDIs. They are still wrangling with VW UK over the legal content of the agreement for full luxury car status but it is hoped to be resolved soon

I thought the "luxury car" dealer status had been knocked on the head, so to speak, and all VW dealers with the relevant sales / technician teams could now both sell and service Touaregs.

Hi Matt,

Jon here, with the Blue 3.0tdi who goes shooting at Barbury. Do you have a view on any of the dealers near us? My nearest is actually Chippenham but I could use Swindon or somewhere further up the M4.

ps Must have a go in your tweaked 3.0 - just took mine to South of France and back (2000 miles in 10 days) and there were a couple of times it could have done with a bit more grunt!
