Just a quickie to say hi Guys 'n Gals. Thanks for all the advice to a lurker who now has the pleasure to drive a new Touareg. Well, it's the wifes car, but we swap depending on the weather with my A4 Cab.

The Beast is great to drive and such an excellent cruiser. And our daughter loves the view from on high.

The spec for her beast:
2.5 Tdi - Manual
Sport trim & Suspension (less roll and better damping IMO)
Shadow Blue
Parking Sensors
Anthracite Leather

Sorry no pictures but I just haven't got round to it yet.

You are most likely to see us in the Winchester area, or heading down to Portsmouth, or on the A34 or M3.

I forgot to say we will be at the unlimited day on the 13 June at Turweston airfield. Can't wait to really give the beast a good work out.

Hello and welcome, I am sure it will be a real treat when and if you can get your hands on it after a few months, which I doubt.
But still,
its in the family good luck.

A man of excellent taste - our other drive is the A4 Cab as well! Sadly though, it's about to leave us - not a practical car for our 11 month old daughter!

Oh well, such is life!

Cheers Elbitrevnoc.
But I fequently transport my 13 month old daughter in the A4 Cab, it has isofix mountings in the rear for a good child seat and she is quite happy sat in the back top down or not. Granted getting in and out is less easy that a 5 door car with a wriggling infant in your arms. And the boot space just fits the pliko p3 pushchair with the top down. So yeah, not the best child transporter when compared with the T'reg, but in the sunshine nothing beats a soft top.
You must be sad to see yours go. What are you going to replace it with?

Sorry Doc - been away!

We're welcoming a very sensible A3 Sportback 2.0dSE into the family. Stilll relatively stylish and quite nice to drive, but I'm going to miss the sunshine!!

I know it's sad but we call ours 'Rommel'.......

Ours is called Kylie....nice arse, sexy in black, love being in her, unlikely to go topless, smooth ride, exclusive, handles nicely, needs regular polishing, drinks like a fish, and needs regular repair work at a young age.......

....plus Kylie has a pig ugly sister too !!

(If Kylie wants to complain about the above, she is welcome to come round to my house when the wifes at work and smack my botty till its raw....)
