Had this for a couple of weeks now ( its a 53 plate ) and a couple of thousand miles or so.
With the climate on full whack and most things turned on or plugged in I'm getting bang on 20mpg ( from brimming and calculation mileage/fuel used ) which is more or less what the trip computer says, and thats fair enough for me.

Went out to check some locations for pics of one of my other cars and liked the angles of this ( ignoring the bad reflections )

Car has been great on long distance runs, holds all my kit, is very quiet and shifts well too - roll on some cold weather so i can test the seats out

Only a couple of things that need to be checked out - my reverse sensors beep as soon as reverse is selected and I sound like a dust cart reversing, and the rear centre air blower is only blowing out of one side.

Also not seen a Touareg round here for ages, then saw 5 on the weekend!

Cheers,

Pete.

Pete,

With angles like that you should be making pictures for a living.

I love the combination of the angle, the mud on the tires and the reflection.

Could go straight into the VW Touareg brochure.

Yep, noticed that, unless ive made a terrible error when fitting them - speaking of which, I think ive lost the keys for them
Chrome roof bars on a non-chrome-pack car... like it!

One thing I did was put some In-Pro Grille Strips on mine to emulate the Chrome grille... I think it looks okay on my (non-chrome pack) car... I think they would really suit yours - either that, or a genuine Chrome grille.

By the way, :coolpics: !

And welcome.

Re. air problems... the left & right air vents should blow equally, so hopefully it's nothing more simister than a blocked vent (flap disconnected locally) or something similar.

My reverse sensors don't bleep when reverse is engaged - only when you're approaching something, and even then, only when you're into the yellows & reds on the display over the rear window. Might be a faulty sensor  but I haven't got a clue!
EDIT: From your front photos, it doesn't look like you've got the VW parking sensors fitted (i.e. front & rear sensors with a visual display (green, yellow & red lights) above the dashtop storage box - as well as the aforementioned lights above the rear window). Bearing this in mind, yours might be a retro-fitted kit. take a photo of the rear & I'll soon tell you.
Happy motoring!

Yep, looks aftermarket, maybe fitted at time of original purchase.
Will have to take a look at that.

Was looking for some chrome strips for the grille, ebay?

I got mine from http://www.dundw.de - basically D&W, massive German "tuning" house! Don't recommend them though - took a long time, and they're not keen on processing foreign credit cards because of scams.

Look for an In.Pro dealer in the UK - can't remember whether or not Halfrauds are stockists.

Failing that, just buy a chrome grille - they're not that expensive IIRC.
