So I took my treg to VW NEW SOUTHGATE LONDON. They called me the next day and said it might be a problem with the bulb so they will have to order a new one. So 2 days later they called me and said your car is ready. So I come down to the dealership and belive or not they tried to charge me 160 Pounds for the light and the labour. Argued with the guy that this should be a warranty repair for about 30 min that this was unfair and even if it was that you cant charge someone for 160 pounds for a bulb. Then he realised that I was not gonna pay. Then he said what kind of lights do you have I said Xenon and belive it he said oh yes it is a warranty repair. I think he was trying to pull a fast one on me. He followed on with an explanation that they dont charge for Xenon bulb but they do for normall bulbs. Then Why the hell would you even think charging 160 pounds for changing a normall bulb. Now that they have changed the bulb it is different colour the new bulb has a white tint but the other bulb had a blue tint why is this......

I'm a bit puzzled

because Xenons don't have bulbs and it is the entire unit that needs replacing. Also Xenon only comes in one colour. So they must have replace the normal bulb with a blue one (which is what you can do) and it really looks awkward. I suggest you get the bulb replaced again or buy another blue bulb, which usually are higher spec bulbs and last longer and are brighter.
