Got in the Treg this morning

Let me in ok

Then the warning light came on low batterry on the keyfob

Has anyone had this before and how long before the thing runs out ??

got my treg in Oct 03, still using the same battery in the keyfob. But then it is only a lowly 2.5, maybe the V10 uses more battery, the same way it uses more fuel

It could be that the low battery indication is false - it's difficult to measure accurately. You may find that it goes away.

The fob wakes up in a 125kHz field with a specific modulation. Each time this happens, a bit more battery energy is used. It could be that this is happening with a spurious source, but it's unlikely. Another common reason for batteries running out is pressing the transmit button when 'fiddling' with keys.

Variations like this and the number of uses mean that the battery life can be one to five or more years,

I never realy look into anything thats why the questions

Never realy had a car long enough for the baterries to run out

Love this one to bits

The warning came on again this morning and still not changed it
