Heated Seat Memory VCDS

Given that you are in a warrantied car, would it not be better to ask your dealer to do this, as changing VCDS config could give them ammo to dispute a warranty repair in the future?

Not saying that changing the config would do this, I just know how they love to wriggle out of things and will use any excuse they can!

Dealer will most likely just tell you it's not possible. At least that's the response I got when I asked them to disable the convenience entry function on the passenger seat. Which as noted on the forum somewhere, is possible with VCDS.

Are you sure there's not a setting in the seats or AC menus? I have climate seats and I'm fairly sure they default to "off"
Have you tried saving the seat position memory with the heated seat off?

Yes - same result though: if heated seat is on when ignition is turned off, the heated seat will still be on when next ignition on... (irrespective of duration of 'off-time')
