The Touareg failed me for the first time! I had to call out the VW assist man on Wednesday to a noisy power steering pump. Turns out a hose was leaking and the fluid level was low. I only ran it for 10 minutes so they topped the reservoir up and took the car to the dealer (Gilder Sheffield). I received an awful Merc A class service car from Europcar (quite unhelpful people) but didnt have to use it as mine was back with me by 4 pm all fixed.
Shame the breakdown happened but excellent service from VW assist (apart from the crappy service car)and the main dealer.
Lets hope I dont see them again for a while.
Other than that the only fault I have is that if the car is parked facing down hill and it rains overnight the water traps below the glass screen and can run into the car when the tailgate is opened. Any ideas on a fix?
