Hi - newbie here, collected a 57 Altitude v6 today, 4,000miles, absolutely chuffed as punch!

Does anyone have an issue with rear glass window in the tailgate? The sensor on the dash keeps saying it's open (rear window is red on the display).

One in every 20 attempts to close it, it might then go off but comes back whilst driving. Annoyingly the interior lights come on and stay on even when locked, can manually override, but I think it's setting off my alarm and no rear wiper as it thinks the window is open

enjoy the perks of having a new motor and let the dealer sort it... or in other words i cant help :shock:

the rear glass can be a pain to close, or so i have found are you sure it is actually close when you think it is.

dont mean to sound rude but I have done it myself.

Thank you guys for your quick responses.

I took it to VW Bristol this morning and they sorted it. Made an adjustment to the latch and now it's all good 100% of the time
