Hello

Driving home tonight, I get the Exhaust System Warning Light come up on the dash.

Manual says to get it checked by VW.

Anyone else had this problem?

Hope it's nothing serious/expensive.

just an update (oops just remembered)

turns out it was a Temparature Sensor somewhere in the engine ??

getting it fixed on Warranty in a couple of weeks.

the light has actually gone off now, but the sensor apparently still needs replacing.

Just got this fault myself but system status is ok on the computer read out. Phoned VW and they said to leave until service which is due next month unless the car starts to run badly.

Thanks for putting post here or else I would have been concerned.
