I have managed to leav VW baffled with my electric seat memory. The passenger seat works no problem, but the driver seat, nothing. they move no problem, but you can't store the setting
Which is a real pain in the ar5e when the girlfriend drives the car (not that much tho!)

VW took diags 6 weeks ago, and are still baffled.

Anyone else had this?

Won't even remember the settings on the buttons?

Quite common to have an issue with the driver's key memory (the instructions to set the memory in the manual are actually wrong), but the memory on the "1-2-3" buttons should work OK.

Warranty job if not...

I set the key memory from the manual and it works fine.... !!!! so either I didn't follow them correctly or I just got lucky... !!!!!

sorted, Western VW in Edinburgh fixed it, and replaced my squeeky centre armrest

How did they remedy the armrest was it a complete new unit cos mine is driving me mad... !!!!
Can't lean on it at all for the noise it makes....

they replaced the inner plastic workings, but kept the outer cover to avoid any leather mis-match.
Its not squeeking as much, but just a tiny bit, which is apprently 'cos its new. I'll give it one more week!
