Have any of you drivers of the 2.5 with manual seats had the mod to eliminate the forever descending drivers seat.

I know we all should have smaller a**es but I am fedup with adjusting the seat everyday.

In this forum someone posted a picture and part number for the "mod". I printed it, took it to the dealer and everytime I ring about it they tell me that VW has not as yet released it.

Just wandered if any one had it done and if so does it work????

Had my part fitted last June and yes it works a treat !

Listers Stratford-on-Avon know the part number.

I had the seat lever clip-ons fitted 2 months ago and they do work well. Did have a long wait for them of about 9 months and in fairness do your dealer my own told me they were in very short supply.

Thanks for the info.

I think that my dealer (VW Nottingham) is doing everything to get it resolved, but VW is in the way

I fired an email to VWLux, let's see how fast they respond

I will keep you informed.
