Wife has just rung, with car full of kids...

She has symbol flashing on the dashboard which looks like its indicating some fault with the diff lock....plus the symbols around the circular selector on the centre console, are all flashing too......

Selector is pointing to "HIGH" as normal.....

She's had quick look in manual but can't see anything....

Any ideas??

Next stop the dealers methinks, at the very least for an explanation.....

Possibly a fuse? Battery got a bit low, its common the lights on the dash all show up.. but if so 'consumer electrics' should show first or 'start engine'...
Most people don't see this first time round..

Going to go and swap cars and take it to dealer, so will report back Monday probably.

This is definitely first lights we have seen - no consumer electrics or anything - and only recently when I was using it I checked that voltmeter was reading as it should...and it was.....

Even if the volt meter is reading 14volts, the drain on the battery only shows up in a splendid array of lights which worries the life out of everybody. More often than not its a low battery that starts all this off. I use a battery maintainer to keep the battery up to scratch. I hope it is just the battery and not anything more serious.

It will go away but you need to charge the battery up..

CTEK battery maintainer can be purchased direct from them

Ta for that!

I guess the cold weather will not have helped.....it should get a few decent runs over the weekend so hopefully should resolve it....fingers crossed!

Werther's....???

You're right, it was a good pointer...thanks.

Maybe the Treg will get the conditioner treatment tonight, instead of the Tiv...still seems a bit crap that a £40k car runs down its battery when only a year old.

Oh and the only aftermarket extra fitted to ours is the DVD system, which the dealer fitted before we took delivery.....

Mine is an Accumate.

You could try Leven technologys - clickety click

No idea how price competitive they are but they do all the bits...

You can get direct from here
