Hi All,
I have a 2008 2.5 tdi Touareg which needs a replacement induction pipe, the AA have looked at it and say the pipe is cracked and have made a temp repair. I've called the VW dealer and they want ?50 to look at the car before they even give me a price for the part, they also say it shouldnt be driven and want to send a loader for it. So does anyone know how much an induction pipe would cost and how much it should cost to get it fitted?

Thanks for any help.

thanks for the questions, the induction pipe was damaged from a knock and is therefore not covered by the warranty.

If you know the pipe is broken tell them to order the part and fit it there is no need for the inspection fee or take it to an independent , I would not think you need special tools for an indiction pipe ? I will have a look at mine tonight and see how big a job it is
