When I am in really slow traffic, and I release the brake to creep forwards I get a clunk, from the rear I think.

Any ideas what this is?

Cheers

Hi BMF, let me ask some questions

Is your car manual or automatic?
Does the problem occur on hills or on the flat?
Have your brakes recently been replaced?

Just trying to narrow it down

Cheers

We had a 52 plate treg on the company that did that. Slow speed when moving off in traffic after a few metres. It went in an I believe it was a diff/transmission problem. It felt like there was differential rotation between front & back axles and after a distance the difference came out in some sort of clunk as something gave.
