Capitol VW Merthyr Tydfil

After having obtained quotes from the 4 local(ish) dealers, Capitol gave best price and impressed with responsiveness, so thought I'd give them a try.

Car was booked in for 2 days so they could do first (variable) service, pollen filters, attend to 90D7 recall plus fit updated wiper arms and new parking brake mechanism (warranty issues).

They managed to find me a Golf courtesy vehicle rather than a Polo which was fair enough (amazing how well specced it was - auto lights/wipers etc!). When checking the mileage it was noted that not much fuel in it so they went and put some in!!! First time that has ever happened to me - usually lucky to have enough to get to Petrol Station!!

Returned next day - all jobs done. Advised pads will need doing in a few thousand miles - agreed a date for them to ring and remind me.

Car washed and very thoroughly hoovered.

And the bill?

And as mentioned elsewhere, seems to be driving very nicely.

So has to be a 9.5/10........I'll dock half a point for not getting a Touareg as courtesy vehicle..!!!
