Treg went in for it's 1st service today. I also wanted them to look at the sinking front seats - sorted, overtly firm side bolsters on the seat base - nothing wrong, broken trim B pillar - replaced. Burnt rubber smell --- A bit of oil leak from the engine, and will need to have the engine removed to fix
The dealers are currently awaiting vw technical services to approve the work. I did notice this smell a few months after I bought it, and even checked the tyres. There is no oil drops either on the drive or garage floor. Good thing the treg's still under warranty.

Courtesy call from the dealer, engine removal has been approved by vw technical services, and vw stoke were half way with removal of the engine. Hopefully car will be back by the end of the week, and all this because of a small oil leak. I'm driving wifey's vw eos, while she's flying around in a courtesy vw fox.
