Appaling dealership, service and knowledge. My car has been back 5 times in 2 months, each time without the fault being cured and the vehicle returned back with yet with another. e.g they crashed into it in their car park, spilt glue onto the windows and body work, scratched the bodywork - non of which they owned up to.

Following a complaint, I was offered 20% off a service !!

Stay clear they are awful.

For those existing or potential Treg owners in the North East of England. I've always found Pullmans in Durham to be exceptionally good.

Bought my first Treg from Benfield, unfortunately not impressed with their sales and service. Had problems trying to get my car booked for warranty work within a reasonable time scale and general lack of interest by service department.

I have been in a fortunate position over the years to purchase several vehicles. I had my worst experience ever from their sales staff after I ordered my Treg eg not keeping me informed of build progress, not returning calls and many other issues. I was so incensed with the quality of service I actually wrote to their Director and complained (I had never done this before or since).

Anyway sales staff left and I thought I give then a second chance when purchasing my second Treg. I couldn't believe their total lack of interest bearing in mind I was spending in the region of ?36K. I ended up travelling to Harper & Hebson in Carlisle. Great service from MIchael Nann their sales guy, very knowledgeable and keen to do business. He always does what he says he is going to do, well impressed.

Hi,

Just bought my new Touareg from benfield Volkswagen in Newcastle and the service was Fantastic . Not sure who you guys must of spoke to, but i would recomend this dealer to any potential touareg owners.

I went to pulmans and was ignored they wouldnt even open the boot for me. So i drove up to benfield and ordered one on the day.

Very happy with my touareg and very happy with the experience.

P.s.
I believe the manager i spoke to said there had been a re stucture of the sales staff. Maybe thats why it was so different to your experience's.
