3.0 Litre V6 Residuals

The Count here.

Spoke to my local dealer today about my V6 diesel. He tells me that there is now a 9 month wait for this vehicle and has offered to buy mine back. Not interested but interesting that residuals on this motor would appear to be performing better than a lot of the motoring press expected.

Had a look at the V10 while I was at the dealership. Has anybody out there driven the two cars and is the extra grunt worth £15k?

If you can afford it why not.

Unfortunately my new holiday home in sunnier parts has taken priority so V10 is completely out of the question for now.

Well I like the comments about V6 residuals.....
But then i would, wouldn't I....

Mind you, was that before the 4x4 activists got active ???

Re. the V10 I reckon if the premium had been about half that figure - say £8k - then I would have gone for it, considering that you also have to swallow increased running costs....

And before Princess Fi jumps in, I know that you can rationalise a lot of the difference with the better standard spec. (keyless start, air suspension etc), but unless you really need those things I feel its not relevant....

So there! IMHO as always....

Anyway, where's Kaine? Off having his V10/V6 test drives I suppose......????

Nice spec on the V10 as you say - but hard to justify in my book.

Great car, great engine, great spec, too much money even if it represented a bargain. IMHO

I'd change my mind if I won the lottery of course

i also thought of the V10 coz we are condsidering changing next year, but with the extra weight - running costs etc etc i will probably go for the V6

So you are still at the stage where you try to be older than you really are.....??!!

Bit like my daughter who, when asked how old she is, answers she's going to be 11 next birthday...........!!!!
