I need to get my front brakes and rotors replaced. The estimate range has been huge $579-$1,433USD ( this does not include brake fluid exchange). The highest of course coming from the dealership. Is going to a National Tire/Meinike just asking for trouble? Is it best just to go to the dealership? Looking at the parts I am a little weary of the low end because the parts are not inexpensive.

I wish I had the ability! I don’t mind paying what’s fair but with such huge range in prices it can feel like being cheated.

New Front Pads and Discs

Took my Treg to local Indie for new front discs and pads. £620 all in, inc courtesy car and VAT. Interestingly; the tech told me there are 2 pads per disc, but only one pad had the wire that detects/reports wear. In typical fashion, the pad that had nearly worn out was the one without the wire...
