I thought it might be unavailable but the thick end of 500 quid is a tad rich!!

Post a photo and then we can see how bad the split is.

Pictures were hazy , did ask for a clearer image , or a condition report
never got back , not on eBay germany anymore , presume sold

£75 looks like a good deal now ,
compared to a new one

Would prob be easier to get the original wrapped , it’s amazing what these companies can do with all sorts of things now. There is virtually one in every town now.

Personally i would definitely have that leather covered. Nicer than wood imo, and making filling the split a simple woodwork task.

The passat looks close ,
suppose most vw similar age would fit
woodwork task of filling in with glue and stain to match should do
until i find a one
