Finally got all the interior lights changed to LED ones.
Had already done the two in the hatchback area and the front puddle lamps.
The dome light and 2 map lights were easy to do as the surround just levers off and it’s a straight swap.

The rear map lights were more difficult as the fittings are very tight. Just takes a bit of effort to pull it out as it feels like you will break something, once released it’s just a straight swap.
I have ordered 4 of the sealed units that illuminate the floor.
Have chosen red ones as it should go nicely with the switches and the little ambient lights at the gearstick.
The difference is incredible for very little outlay.
Got the latest w5w bulbs from eBay for £12 for 10 of them
Now the door mirror ones look dull so I will consider doing them once I read up how to.

Has anyone swapped the rear floor lights under the front seats?
I cannot get them out at all , seem exceedingly tight
And don’t want to break them
The front ones were a 2 minute job
It’s a 2104 r-line

I did mine last week, they weren't easy, the rear lights in the seats have an outer plate that helps keep the seat lining in place. I found that prising that out with a flat head made removing the old ones easier.

Main issue then came installing the new LED's. First Ebay purchase was returned as they were about 3mm to big. Having then emailed we-sell-HIDs (ebay) based in Bradford they confirmed which set would fit and i bought them. Unfortuntely although a much better made product they were still too big. I've ended up having to file down the plastic on the new lights and hacksaw a groove to make them fit. Would be easier to enlarge the gap in the seat but i didn't want to start changing the car incase i want to return it to original in the future. Now installed they look great and can be dimmed from the centre console.

Thanks very much
I saw that plate round them last night but was unsure as to whether it had to come out.
I’ll try it later when my son comes for a visit as his eyesight is far superior to mine 😂
Also discovered the originals can be opened and you could fit an led bulb in them.
I have some spare form the roof lights that I can try tho may be a bit too long
The front ones that I fitted can be dimmed easily via the setup , only annoyance is that they are full power when all the interior lights are on and only revert to 25% when the others are off
