How do you clean your roof?

Used to have a Disco with side steps and rarely climbed up to give the roof a once over. Now Ive got a panny roof I feel it has to be cleaned...

Im not a short @rse but just cant reach above the roof bars.

Bar getting a step out - any tips out there?

I stand on the rear wheels and then on the sill with the front door open (shoes off of course)

Let the air suspension down to loading level.

3.2 V6 with Air Suspension, Xenons and a Sunroof!

Gone VW Sharan V6 4motion.

Gone VW Golf V6 4motion.

I do like the VW V6 petrol engines!

I have an egg crate ( used for soakaway drainage) very sturdy lightweight ish and i stand on that as i wash the roof

2014 R-Line 245 PS in Pure White Special, 12 way Elec Seats in titan black, Memory Pack, Air Susp CDC, Retractable Towbar, TPMS and Spacesaver Spare, Area View, Rear sunblinds, Parking Heater, heated front windscreen, Google Earth - oh yes and a heated steering wheel :)

Gone but not forgotten - 58 plate altitude v6 3.0 240ps

A double caravan step is what my husband has always used to clean sunroof etc.,

I have a Hozelock rotating round brush on a long (1 metre I think) handle .... I don't use it for the paintwork but its great for reaching to do the sunroof and windscreen...

Escape 262 (Canyon Grey) ordered 14th August 2015, build week confirmed as 28th Sept, collected 28th October 2015.
