But i can upgrade directly to 821?

I dont need first upgrade to 775?

I don't know how you upgrade directly to 821. I didn't do that. I read the instructions and decided the route to upgrade to 775 and then 821 was clearer to me and afforded me less risk.
It took longer but I wasn't in a rush and I work with software for a living, I've learnt patience is usually it's own reward.

Up to 50 mins for firmware and up to/just over 1 hour for the maps.

Make sure you have the car running or hooked up to a battery charger so you don't run the battery down during the process ;)
Current - 2013 R-Line 245 PS in Pure White Special, 12 way Elec Seats in Vienna, Memory Pack, Air Susp CDC, Retractable Towbar, TPMS and Spacesaver Spare - Gtechniq TSP treatment : )

Previous - 2012 VW Touareg Altitude 3.0 TDI 245PS, Deep Black Pearlescent and 2009 VW Touareg Altitude 3.0TDI 240PS, Diamond Black Pearlescent

Or skip first update to K0775 and start from update to K0821 ?

My advice from an IT background. is to break things into small steps, big bang approach is generally fraught with danger.
2014 R-Line 245 PS in Pure White Special, 12 way Elec Seats in titan black, Memory Pack, Air Susp CDC, Retractable Towbar, TPMS and Spacesaver Spare, Area View, Rear sunblinds, Parking Heater, heated front windscreen, Google Earth - oh yes and a heated steering wheel :)

Gone but not forgotten - 58 plate altitude v6 3.0 240ps
